Do lots and lots of trump overcome few points?

Today at a party bridge group, my partner and I held something like this, and I, playing South, opened 1.

North has only 1 point, but six trump to go along with at least five in my hand (since I opened a major).

What should North bid? It seems a shame to ignore all those hearts, but she only has 1 point?

  1. If you consider that any trump beyond the first three cards can beat any high card of a voided suit, and partner has two doubletons to use them on (worth at least 2 queens), I think the hand is worth a supporting role.
